Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Utilities for the FleX Batch site in Holly Springs, NC. This night‑shift role supports start‑up and daily operation of plant utility systems.

Shift is 7 PM–7 AM (2‑2‑3). You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, test and document steam, WFI, HVAC, cooling towers, pumps and related equipment.

You will coordinate with vendors, ensure GMP/SOP compliance, and participate in on‑call rotations. Amgen offers a Total Rewards Plan and flexible work models.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or Associate’s Degree.
• 1 year of Utility Operations or Maintenance experience.
• Experience in GMP or regulated environment preferred.
• Experience documenting maintenance in CMMS and reading P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on plant utility systems (steam, WFI, HVAC, etc.).
• Troubleshoot, repair, test and document maintenance actions.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Maintain safety and GMP-compliant documentation and on-call readiness.
