Job summary

The Research Foundation for SUNY in Albany, NY is seeking a Facility UPW/WWT Technician (N2) to perform preventive maintenance and support for UPW and WWT systems. You will operate, test, repair, and help implement start-up/shutdown procedures, working both independently and with a team.

Night 2 shift runs Wednesday-Friday and alternating Saturdays from 7pm to 7:30am. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with 5–7 years of mechanical maintenance experience, knowledge of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5–7 years in mechanical maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Experience with maintenance schedules, blueprints, and record-keeping.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in adverse weather, and wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and operational support for UPW/WWT systems.
• Develop start-up/shutdown and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Provide customer support and maintain detailed reports.
• Work independently and in a team; communicate effectively.
