Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Holly Springs, NC seeks a Manager Manufacturing (Upstream) for the night shift to lead a team of manufacturing associates in GMP drug substance production.

The role focuses on safe, compliant operations, Lean culture, and continuous improvement on the floor, with a 12-hour night rotation 5:45PM–6:15AM. You will define objectives, coach staff, manage staffing, and collaborate with QA/QC, Facilities, and Regulatory teams to meet production goals while upholding Amgen values and

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with relevant manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s with 5+ years in manufacturing/operations.
• Associate with 10+ years in manufacturing/operations.
• Strong leadership and resource management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on‑floor manufacturing operations on the night shift.
• Coach and develop staff; hire and evaluate team members.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with QA/QC, Facilities & Engineering, and Regulatory teams.
