Qualifications

• Requires basic clerical competency and ability to manage patient information accurately.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA privacy practices preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with teammates, physicians, and patients.

Responsabilités

• Maintain patient records on the unit, including labeling and filing documents.
• Forward discharged records to the HIM department promptly.
• Monitor census accuracy and ensure correct patient data in computer systems.
• Order and stock clerical supplies and transcribe communications as needed.
