Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Clinical Assistant program, Medical Assistant or EMT training preferred.
• CNA/ Nursing Assistant certification and BLS required or in progress where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes and communicates orders accurately between physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Assists with patient care tasks under RN supervision.
• Assembles and maintains patient records; routes information promptly.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKG lead placement, and basic respiratory duties as trained.
• Maintains patient safety, privacy, and HIPAA compliance.
