Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) to operate sonographic equipment and communicate results under radiologist supervision. The role supports acute care diagnostics in a fast-paced setting.

The position is full-time with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000. A RDMS pathway is preferred but not required; successful candidates will obtain RDMS within one year. New location coming spring 2027 in New Location area.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: None.
• Minimum Years of Experience: None.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: BLS or within 3 months; RDMS pathway required within 1 year; CME compliance as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonographic equipment and perform diagnostic examinations.
• Communicate results to Radiologist and assist with invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort across age groups.
• Collaborate with department staff to provide timely, high-quality imaging services.
