Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department is hiring a sonographer for a full-time day shift (7:00am–7:00pm) at a new location opening Spring 2027 in Columbia, SC. The role requires RDMS (or registry-eligible with RDMS within 1 year) and BLS certification, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification required or registry-eligible with plan to obtain within 1 year.
• BLS certification or within 3 months of employment.
• Experience or ability to work in an acute care ultrasound setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment independently and perform diagnostic exams.
• Assist Radiologist with invasive procedures in acute care.
• Maintain equipment and department ACR accreditation.
• Communicate results clearly to clinicians and care team.
