Siemens Energy, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking Alignment Mechanics to support turbine assembly, alignment, and related precision work. The role involves reading blueprints, operating cranes and manual machines, and ensuring quality control on complex components.

The position requires 1–3 years in a manufacturing setting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work Friday to Sunday night shifts. This on-site role is based in Charlotte, NC, within the Gas Services team.

Competenze

• 1–3 years in turbine assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with alignment, blading, seal installation/removal, welding and mechanical adjustments.
• Ability to operate cranes and material handling equipment for loads and lifts.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Mansioni

• Perform turbine assembly, alignment, blading, seal installation/removal, welding, fabrication, and component adjustments.
• Operate material handling equipment and cranes for product movement and lifting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Use computers to retrieve, record, and review product data and manufacturing information.
• Measure, calculate, and verify dimensions and product quality with precision instruments.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and clean manual machining equipment (Bridgeport, lathe, grinders).
