Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
• Experience with truck repair, body and frame repair is a plus.
• Must possess tools to perform job duties and read precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Repair company equipment in a safe, timely, cost-effective manner including preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs on trucks and related equipment.
• Read precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, multimeters) for diagnostics.
• Apply welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete repairs where needed.
