American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a night shift hospital assignment in Baton Rouge, LA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency.

The role includes a 3x12 schedule (18:30-07:00 or 06:30-19:00), a 1:4 patient ratio, and weekend coverage every other weekend. Epic EMR experience is required, with housing options and travel benefits available for travelers.

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• License required if applicable.
• Driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Night shift position (3x12 hours), 18:30 to 07:00 or alternate 06:30 to 19:00.
• Patient ratio of 1:4.
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• May be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, with an expectation to remain onsite or serve on a relief team.
• Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).
• Black scrub color required.
• First-time travelers will be considered if they have 1+ years of experience.
• Candidates must live outside a 65-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
• Former Ochsner Health staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler.
• All requested time off must be disclosed on the profile and discussed during the interview.
