Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night-shift hospital assignment in Madison, WI. Requires at least 2 years of RT experience, state license where applicable, and completion of a prior travel contract.

Active certifications and a supervisory reference within 2 years are needed. Responsibilities include providing care in a hospital setting for adults, night shifts 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, and occasional cross-campus floating.

Qualifications

• State license required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of previous Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract.
• Active certifications required at time of consideration.
• One supervisory performance evaluation/reference within 2 years.
• Proof of permanent residency or driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Therapy unit within a hospital setting.
• Adult patient population only.
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Allows compact license.
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Epic EMR preferred.
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide care management for adult patients.
• Radius requirements apply and vary by facility.
• Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods.
• Agency must disclose if a candidate was previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months, and such candidates may not be eligible for consideration.
