Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role requires CRT/RRT credentials and a minimum of 2 years of RT experience, with completion of at least one prior travel contract.

Shift is 12 hours at night, 36 hours per week, in an adult hospital setting. Responsibilities include working within an interdisciplinary team, potential cross-campus duties, and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• State license required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of previous Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract.
• Active certifications required at time of consideration.
• One supervisory performance evaluation/reference from within 2 years of employment/contract.
• Proof of permanent residency or driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide care management for adult patients.
• Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods.
