TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The traveler will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with the opportunity to provide urgent respiratory care across multiple modalities.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and optional NRP in some areas; a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience is desired. Verify local criteria at time of assignment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• Must hold BLS; ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsabilités

• Administer a range of respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain respiratory equipment; calibrate and report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and specimen analysis per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
