Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Night Shift LPN for a long-term care facility. Requires 1+ year of nursing experience and BLS certification.

You will work 12-hour nights (7PM–7:30AM), with every other weekend and holidays, and 36 hours guaranteed weekly. Admissions, transfers and discharges are part of the role, with a 1:35 patient to caregiver ratio and CNAs for support. Travel-friendly position with housing and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license required if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to perform admissions and understand the full admission process.
• Knowledge of transfer, discharge, and fall reporting procedures required.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility within the post-acute care setting.
• Night shift schedule from 7PM-730AM, 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Resident to caregiver ratio at night is up to 1:35, with support from up to 2 CNAs.
• Responsible for medication pass at the beginning of the night shift.
• Uses an unspecified computerized charting system.
• No on-call or call-back requirements.
• Responsibilities include resident admissions, transfers, discharges, and fall reporting.
• Candidates residing within an 80-mile radius may be considered as local placements.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role.
• Two week's notice required for cancellation.
