Amerit Fleet Solutions in Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician/Mechanic for the night shift to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, document work orders, and ensure fleet reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience performing class 7-8 trailer maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings including drug screen and DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers.
