Job summary

UPS in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Trailer Mechanic for a temporary position (120–360 days) to perform preventative maintenance on trailers and dolly equipment. The role requires trailer/auto mechanic experience, diagnostic tool usage, and a full set of personal hand tools. Night shift 7:00 p.m.

– 3:30 a.m. with CDL Class A or B preferred. Responsibilities include DOT compliance, manual transmission operation, and safe handling of heavy packages; compensation at $40.79/hour with extensive benefits

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience: tractor, trailers, brakes, tires, bodywork, welding, non-power.

Responsibilities

• Meet D.O.T requirements.
• Attend to various physical tasks (bend, lift, stand, climb ladders).
• Operate standard/manual transmission and power tools.
• Work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
