Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is hiring a Traffic Control Technician II for night shift, responsible for setting up and breaking down lane closures and ensuring safety on state highways and roadways. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience and 2,000 in field hours in traffic control.
• Must pass a motor vehicle records check.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear proper safety equipment (boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest).
• Must read and interpret traffic control plans and ensure implementation.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to protect workers and work zones.
• Set up traffic cones, signs, deliniators, and boards in work areas.
• Monitor the work zone for proper placement and safety.
• Perform shop work, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.
• Travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays; work nights and weekends as required.
