Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Third Shift Thermal Plant Operator in New Hampshire to manage the thermal soil remediation process safely and efficiently. You will operate controls, monitor performance, and coordinate with maintenance staff during night shifts (11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Mon–Sat).

The role emphasizes strict adherence to permits and safety policies. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with computerized plant processing systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Trade school graduates encouraged to apply.
• 2 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting/repair (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or combustion).
• Experience operating and monitoring computerized plant processing equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal plant controls and equipment safely and per permits.
• Monitor facility operations and adjust for optimal performance.
• Perform and document daily operations, safety, and equipment checks.
• Inspect machinery and communicate repairs to maintenance staff.
• Assist maintenance with repairs as needed.
• Work independently with safety policies; maintain a clean work area.
• Follow Cardin al Rules, JSAs, and safety procedures.
• Report incidents or safety concerns promptly.
