Job summary

Clean Earth is seeking a Third Shift Thermal Plant Operator to operate the thermal soil remediation process safely and efficiently. You will manage facility performance using specialized software, perform pre-shift inspections, document conditions, and assist with repairs as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of equipment troubleshooting experience, and ability to read schematics. Evening/night shifts, weekends, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Trade school graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or combustion systems preferred.
• Two years of equipment troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Experience operating computerized plant processing equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal plant controls and equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
• Monitor facility operations and adjust to meet performance specifications.
• Document daily operations, safety checks, and equipment conditions.
• Communicate repair or service needs to maintenance staff.
• Assist maintenance staff with repairs as needed.
• Work independently and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Report incidents or safety concerns promptly to management.
• Adhere to company safety policies and regulatory permits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
