Job summary

Virtua Health in Burlington Hospital is seeking a part-time Telemetry Technician to monitor and interpret ECGs under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will document rhythm interpretations and communicate changes to the RN while supporting the healthcare team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, Basic Dysrhythmia training, and Telemetry Technician certification/test. Night shift hours and on-site work with a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete Basic Dysrhythmia course.
• Pass Telemetry Technician test.
• 3–6 months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitors and interprets ECG monitors.
• Notifies RN of rhythm changes and communicates with nursing staff.
• Documents rhythm interpretations on required forms.
• Demonstrates standard precautions and patient safety principles.
• Assists with orientation and performance improvement activities.
• Maintains departmental competencies.
