VAST Data is seeking a Technical Escalation Engineer to join its growing team. You will monitor and maintain health and performance of installed clusters in a 24/7 environment, ensuring availability, reliability, and security of services.

Qualifications

• Superior written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, DNS and related networking concepts.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills with multitasking ability.
• Willingness to work 24/7 shifts including nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clusters and infrastructure health in a 24/7 environment.
• Respond to alerts and incidents following SOPs and escalation paths.
• Perform initial diagnosis and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Document incidents with steps taken and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with Support, R&D, and customers to resolve incidents.
