Job summary

District Photo Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dependable, technically minded Machine Operator to join our production team on the night shift.

You will set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, use computer-based systems, follow digital work instructions, and perform routine quality checks while collaborating with quality, maintenance, and support teams. Training begins on days for two weeks before moving to the regular B shift, with a schedule that includes Sunday to Wednesday 5:00 PM

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator, equipment operator, manufacturing, printing, or technical production experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and technical aptitude are important for this position.
• Comfortable learning new software, touchscreen controls, computer interfaces, and automated equipment.
• Ability to understand basic machine settings, error messages, and operating instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how equipment works.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical or equipment problems before escalating them.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently after training while also contributing to a team environment.
• Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
• Must be able to work the required B Shift schedule and complete the initial two-week day-shift training schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment.
• Use computer-based systems and machine interfaces to manage production jobs.
• Follow digital work instructions and production specifications.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform basic troubleshooting when equipment or software-related issues occur.
• Recognize errors, alarms, or unusual machine conditions and take appropriate action.
• Accurately enter and review production information using computer systems.
• Perform routine quality checks and identify defects before products move to the next production stage.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and technical support teams.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
