District Photo Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dependable, technically minded Machine Operator to join our production team. You will set up, operate, and monitor production equipment and use computer-based systems to manage jobs.

The role requires quick learning of software and machine interfaces, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work the B shift with two weeks of day-shift training. After training, you’ll continue on the regular night shift.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator, equipment operator, manufacturing, printing, or technical production experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and technical aptitude are important for this position.
• Comfortable learning new software, touchscreen controls, computer interfaces, and automated equipment.

District Photo Inc. is looking for a dependable, technically minded Machine Operator to join our Phoenix production team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with production equipment, computers, technology, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule

Regular B Shift:
Sunday–Wednesday | 5:00 PM–3:00 AM

Required Training Schedule – First Two Weeks:
Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:00 PM

Candidates must be available to work the day-shift training schedule for the first two weeks. After successfully completing training, the employee will move to the regular B Shift schedule.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous machine operator, equipment operator, manufacturing, printing, or technical production experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and technical aptitude are important for this position.
• Comfortable learning new software, touchscreen controls, computer interfaces, and automated equipment.
• Ability to understand basic machine settings, error messages, and operating instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how equipment works.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical or equipment problems before escalating them.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently after training while also contributing to a team environment.
• Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
• Must be able to work the required B Shift schedule and complete the initial two-week day-shift training schedule.

A Good Fit Might Be Someone Who...

You don't necessarily need years of printing experience. We're interested in candidates who are comfortable around technology, learn equipment quickly, aren't intimidated by computers, and like figuring out how things work.

Experience operating printers, CNC equipment, automated manufacturing equipment, packaging machinery, production equipment, or other computer-controlled machinery could translate well to this position.
