Job summary

District Photo Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dependable Canon Machine Operator for the night shift to join our fast-paced production team. This role requires prior machine operator experience and familiarity with digital printing equipment.

You will set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot high-volume Canon printing systems to meet daily production goals. We offer a night-shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts (B) or three 12-hour shifts (D), competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Previous machine operator experience is required.
Experience with digital or commercial print equipment preferred.
Able to work 12-hour night shifts.
Comfortable around high-speed production equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Operate Canon production printing equipment in a high-volume environment.
Set up, start, monitor, and operate equipment during the shift.
Monitor print quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
Make routine machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary.
Load materials and monitor consumables.
Follow production schedules and priorities.
Complete quality checks and production documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and production concerns to leadership.
Work closely with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures.
