Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a Compressing Operator (Tableting) for night shift to operate and monitor tablet press equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality vitamin tablets and adherence to safety and GMP standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of compression-operations experience, with the ability to read procedures in English. Training is provided, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED completion or 5 years of work equivalency.
• At least 3 months of experience in compression operations.
• Ability to read English sufficiently well to understand operating procedures and batch records.

Responsibilities

• Adjust tablet press settings to meet target weight, hardness and thickness.
• Record quality checks hourly and for two-piece hardshell every 30 minutes.
• Analyze test results using graphs and SPC data charts.
• Apply MES to charge and yield products.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Assist in tooling changes when switching products.
• Follow safety rules and GMPs in all duties.
