Job description

Position

Night Shift – Compressing Operator (Tableting) in Pharmavite’s manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust tablet press equipment to produce quality vitamin tablets.
• Make adjustments to achieve proper tablet weight, hardness, and thickness.
• Perform and record quality checks on tablets hourly and on two-piece hardshells every 30 minutes using hardness tester, scales and micrometer.
• Analyze test results and generate SPC data charts.
• Apply Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for product charging and yield documentation.
• Clean and prepare containers, drums, bags, lids, labels, and skids for transport.
• Supply blended product to tablet presses.
• Assist with tool and press equipment changes when switching products.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and comply with safety rules, SOPs and good manufacturing practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent or five years of work experience.
• Three months of experience in compression operations or related knowledge.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate controls on compressing and testing equipment.
• Reading English ability sufficient to understand operating procedures, GMP and batch records; ability to communicate with supervisors.
• Proficiency with routine record keeping.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 lbs., operate hand dollies or pallet jacks, work in noisy environment with ear protection.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $45,000 – $74,000. Compensation includes base pay, performance bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, annual wellness benefits, overtime pay for non‑exempt employees.
