Job summary

ManTech in San Diego is seeking a motivated Systems Administrator to support national security by maintaining critical enterprise infrastructure and incident response readiness. The role requires direct support for the 0100–0900 morning shift and may involve travel up to 25%.

You will administer Windows infrastructure, TACLANE encryptors, and patch management while ensuring security controls are maintained and outages are resolved promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of IT experience, or equivalent substitutions.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance required (e.g., Security+ CE).
• 2+ years in Network or Systems Administrator roles.
• 4+ years managing enterprise Windows infrastructure (AD, DHCP, DNS, NTP, CA, GPO, WSUS).
• Experience configuring TACLANE encryptors and troubleshooting outages.
• Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
• Must meet security clearance and polygraph prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Windows servers, workstations, and domain controllers.
• Configure TACLANE encryptors, troubleshoot network connectivity, and baseline routers/switches.
• Manage user accounts, triage incidents in ticketing systems.
• Automate patching and vulnerability remediation; coordinate with ISSO.
• Perform site surveys, hardware planning, and inventory/shipping coordination.
• Support 0100–0900 shift and travel up to 25% CONUS/OCONUS.
