Job summary

Tau Six, a cybersecurity and systems integration firm, seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to support national security systems. You will manage Windows infrastructure, TACLANE encryptors, and cloud resources, while performing incident response and patch management.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required; travel up to 25% and occasional weekend coverage may be needed. The role operates on a 1:00 AM–9:00 AM Pacific shift in support of critical nationwide systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as listed.
• DoD 8140.03 certification required (e.g., Security+ CE).
• 4+ years in IT or related field.
• 2+ years as Network or Systems Administrator.
• 4+ years in designing and maintaining enterprise Windows infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows servers, workstations, domain controllers, cloud resources, VMware, and storage.
• Configure TACLANE encryptors and troubleshoot network connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, triage incidents, and escalate issues.
• Apply patches, remediate vulnerabilities, harden systems with ISSO coordination.
• Conduct remote site surveys, plan hardware and inventory.
• After-hours shift and travel up to 25% as required.
