Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Supply Chain Technician I at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. The role supports the Supply Chain Supervisor by organizing and maintaining all supply rooms, delivering supplies, and keeping par levels current.

Strong attention to inventory and customer service are essential. Responsibilities include restocking, cycle counts, older inventory alerts, and assisting with Lawson-based processes and third-party systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor degree preferred.
• Two years of supply chain experience preferred; healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supports accurate maintenance of the supply inventory.
• Daily restocking of shelves.
• Rotates inventory.
• Performs cycle counts or other inventories.
• Notifies Supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory.
• Maintains inventory level for 3rd party system or Lawson Par locations.
• Basic troubleshooting for automated inventory management systems.
• Maintain clean and orderly stock locations.
• Maintains professional image when assisting customers in person or by phone on VOCERA.
• Processes shipment to stock or delivers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Basic Lawson functions.
• Basic knowledge of 3rd party system utilized at facility.
• Assist in packing case carts as needed.
