Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Supply Chain Technician I at UofL Hospital in Louisville for the third shift. You will assist the Supply Chain Supervisor with organizing supply rooms, restocking shelves, and ensuring par levels to support patient care.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, notifying about outdates, supporting Lawson and third-party systems, and delivering supplies. The role emphasizes accuracy, housekeeping, and professional interactions with staff by phone or in person.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum of Two (2) years Supply Chain related experience preferred.
• Team Management and/or Project Management preferred.
• Familiar with healthcare technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Supports the accurate maintenance of the supply inventory.
• Daily restocking of shelves.
• Rotates inventory.
• Performs cycle counts or other inventories.
• Notifies Supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory.
• Supports and maintains inventory level for Lawson Par locations.
• Able to provide basic trouble shooting for all automated inventory management systems.
• Maintain clean and orderly stock locations.
• Maintains professional image when assisting customers in person or by phone on VOCERA.
• Processes shipment to stock or delivers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Basic Lawson functions.
• Basic knowledge of 3rd party system utilized at facility.
• Assist in packing case carts as needed.
