Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Supply Chain Tech I to support inventory control and daily restocking in the supply rooms at Jewish Hospital (UMC). The role assists the Supply Chain Supervisor, handles cycle counts, coordinates with Lawson Par locations, and ensures clean, accessible stock for clinical teams and staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in supply chain, and an interest in healthcare logistics. Training on VOCERA and hospital systems is provided.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years supply chain related experience preferred.
• Team management and/or project management preferred.
• Stay current with technology trends in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Supports the accurate maintenance of the supply inventory.
• Daily restocking of shelves.
• Rotates inventory.
• Performs cycle counts or other inventories.
• Notifies Supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory.
• Maintains inventory level for 3rd party system or Lawson Par locations.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for all automated inventory management systems.
• Maintain clean and orderly stock locations.
• Assists customers in person or by phone on VOCERA.
• Processes shipment to stock or delivers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Basic Lawson functions.
• Basic knowledge of 3rd party system used at facility.
• Assist in packing case carts as needed.
