Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Supply Chain Operations Associate in Flint, MI. You will support the General Motors LLP account, coordinate supplier schedules, and track parts to keep production flowing.

The role is salaried with a pay range of $50,000 to $55,000 annually, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a rotation for Saturdays. The position emphasizes material availability, inventory control, and independent decision-making within a fast-paced logistics environment at a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year or more administrative experience preferred.
• Five years or more relevant experience strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on purchased parts to ensure on-time delivery for production.
• Serve as main liaison to suppliers and manage ship schedule requirements.
• Track critical parts and execute containment plans to avoid production downtime.
• Coordinate alternative material sources and spot buys when necessary.
• Monitor and adjust inventory in systems and post inventory adjustments.
