ALPLA is a global leader in sustainable packaging seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to oversee subordinates and keep equipment running at peak efficiency. Join a safety‑driven, outcome‑oriented team focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.

You will guide production, ensure output meets specifications, record issues, perform mold changes, and lead the shift with training and housekeeping focus. A high school diploma and engineering background are preferred, with supervisory plastics

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical engineering background preferred.
• Experience supervising, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Good process knowledge and ability to train personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all tasks of subordinates to ensure peak equipment performance.
• Run production area and ensure goods produced to meet specifications.
• Accurately record goods produced and issues during shifts for smooth changeovers.
• Perform mold changes with the Machine Operator.
• Ensure product quality and that all employees follow policies and safety rules.
• Lead the shift team and ensure efficient collaboration; manage staffing and training.
• Attend meetings with Production Manager and address employee concerns.
• Maintain good housekeeping within the department.
