Job summary

ALPLA Lima Plant is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead production operations at our Lima facility. You will supervise and coordinate tasks, manage the production area, and ensure output meets quality and quantity specifications.

This role requires supervisory experience, a technical background, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. You will train staff, oversee changeovers, and contribute to a stable, growing packaging solutions company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical engineering background preferred.
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing/plastics is preferred.
• Good understanding of production processes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all shift tasks to meet goals.
• Run production area and ensure timely output.
• Ensure goods are produced and packaged to spec and quantity.
• Record production data and shift handovers accurately.
• Perform mold changes with the Machine Operator.
• Maintain product quality and adherence to safety rules.
• Lead and train team and monitor staffing levels.
• Record time and attendance; conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Attend meetings with Production Manager and address employee concerns.
