Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS seeks a Night Shift PRN Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Student Nurse Tech (SNT) to assist with patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Candidate must have completed the first semester and be enrolled in an accredited BSN RN program or equivalent ADN program; BLS within 14 days of hire. Prior healthcare experience is a plus in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the first semester and be enrolled in an accredited BSN RN program or equivalent ADN program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse as defined by the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
• Reports to the Director or designee.
