Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS invites you to join our night shift PRN Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Student Nurse Tech team. You will support licensed nurses by delivering direct patient care under RN guidance.

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited BSN RN program or ADN program, and have or obtain BLS within 14 days of hire; prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the first semester and currently enrolled in an accredited BSN RN program, or completed the equivalent time and be enrolled in a currently accredited ADN program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Reports to the Director or designee.
