Job summary

Price Rite CHICOPEE is hiring a Closing Supervisor to oversee store operations and staff on shift, delivering high quality customer service and maintaining presentation. Handles cash, inventory, and back-room readiness while adhering to company and legal policies.

Requirements include management experience, reading/writing skills, and a Food Safety Certification. The role emphasizes safety, shrink control, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of management experience; associate degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or team members of the organization.
• Must have active Food Safety Certification.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities for up to 20 team members in the store.
• Maintains store conditions per company standards and safety rules.
• Oversees inventory, damages, signs and tags; supports CGO functions.
• Open/close cash office, including reconciliations and deposits.
• Ensure excellent customer service and communications with store leadership.
• Work primarily nights and weekends; full-time ~40 hours weekly.
