Job summary

Walmart in Phenix City, AL seeks a store leader to develop teams, teach training, actively listen to associates, and drive store operations following the One Best Way service model. You will supervise customer service initiatives and ensure a high-quality customer experience while managing sales and profits through budgeting and merchandising.

Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, and evaluating associates, promoting a culture of belonging, and applying EDLP/EDLC business models.

Qualifications

2 years' college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
Preferred qualifications include Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership and experience supervising 5+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties and providing recognition.
Set clear expectations and ensure adherence to policies while promoting a culture of belonging.
Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
Improve customer service and operations through data-informed action plans and process improvements.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align store initiatives with company direction and community needs.
