Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market in Randolph, VT is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves filled and the store ready for customers. You’ll stock products, help customers locate items, and maintain appealing displays on the sales floor.

Day shifts involve customer interaction and fast-paced stocking; overnight shifts focus on deliveries, backroom organization, and resetting displays with safety in mind. You’ll lift up to 60 lbs and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to operate equipment like pallet jacks following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Flexible shifts including day, evening, overnight, weekends and holidays.
• Compliance with safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail stocking or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and organize displays on the sales floor.
• Assist customers with locating items and answer questions.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and aisles.
• Prepare for store deliveries and overnight resets as needed.
