Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech II for the night shift. This full‑time role supports the sterile processing department at Texas Health Dallas, located at 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231.

The position offers full benefits and a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Requirements include a high school diploma and sterile processing experience or related clinical experience, with certification CSPDT/CBSPD/CRCST upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Sterile Processing experience preferred or new graduate with related clinical experience. (preferred)
• One of the following certifications required upon hire: CSPDT, CBSPD, CRCST.

Responsibilities

• Performs scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.
• Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.
• Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray.
• Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the instrument tracking system.
• Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure. Cleaning of instruments manually using automated cleaners.
• Ultrasonic washer
• Instrument washer
• Cart washer
• Performs tests and documents as directed to ensure proper operation of washers and Emergency Eyewash and Shower.
• Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method.
