Qualifications

• 1 year Central Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Central Sterile Processing Certification within 1 year required or hire-preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and clean all equipment and instrumentation; ensure sterility.
• Evaluate equipment function and report malfunctions for repair.
• Assemble instrument sets per count sheets and minimize waste.
• Prepare and package single instrument items.
• Differentiate steam vs gas sterilization needs.
• Store, deliver and manage sterile supplies using aseptic technique.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow best practices.
• Perform sterilization duties and troubleshoot equipment.
• Support messenger duties as needed.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
