Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for weekend, full-time shifts at Texas Health Fort Worth. You will scan instrument trays, create count sheets, and assemble and wrap trays, ensuring proper tracking and decontamination per policy.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and preferred 1 year of sterile processing experience; CSPDT/CBSPD/CRCST certifications are required upon hire. This is a patient-centered, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sterile processing experience preferred.
• CSPDT, CBSPD, CRCST certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Scan instrument trays to locate and create count sheets.
• Assemble and wrap instrument trays.
• Decontaminate instruments per policy and procedure.
• Operate washers and sterilizers following manufacturer instructions.
• Monitor washer performance and document tests.
• Assist with storage and distribution of sterilized items.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety precautions.
