Responsibilities

• Decontamination of patient care equipment.
• Performance of sterilization: monitor cycles and document results.
• Performance of inventory/storage/distribution: sort, rotate, and distribute items.
• Communication to support team outcomes and proper instruction follow-up.
• Validation of equipment and sterilizers: run tests and record results.
• Assembly/packaging/wrapping: assemble instrument sets and wrap trays per lists.
• Maintenance of department functions: support team operations and workflow.
