Job summary

Berger Health System in Ashland, OH is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The 24 hours per week night shift role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (Required).
• RN - Registered Nurse licensed in Ohio (or multi-state compact).
• BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
• Current RN license in good standing in Ohio or multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluate responses and revise care plans with multidisciplinary team.
• Leadership - Participate in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations - Focus on safety, quality and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
