Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process and aliquot specimens with care to maintain integrity.
• Communicate with nurses and physicians regarding orders.
• Enter specimen receive times and enter data into LIS.
• Verify specimens against requisitions and labels.
• Prepare and send specimens to outside locations when needed.
• Assist in training new staff and maintain a clean, safe work area.
