Job summary

Pride Health currently seeks a Phlebotomist to support a client medical facility in Chantilly, VA. This contract position offers a 04+ month duration with potential extension and pays $21-25/hour on a W2 basis.

The SPT I will perform specimen processing duties, data entry, and related tasks in a biohazard environment. Night shifts are common, with potential weekend/overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer understanding; lab testing knowledge preferred
• No prior experience required but healthcare/lab exposure is a plus
• Night shift availability and ability to work in a biohazard environment are required

Responsibilities

• Support Specimen Processing Department with general duties
• Perform data entry and ensure accurate record keeping
• Handle A-station, presort, pickup/delivery of specimens to the lab
• Assist with imaging/micofilming, centrifugation and aliquoting as needed
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance; adhere to shift and overtime requirements
