Job summary

Pride Health seeks a Specimen Processor - Lab to support a healthcare facility in Chantilly, VA. This local contract runs 14 weeks with a Tue–Sat schedule, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm EST, providing hands-on data entry and specimen handling in a clinical lab.

Responsibilities include accessioning specimens, data entry, processing, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to sit and perform data entry for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Laboratory or healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Specimen accessioning and data entry.
• Specimen handling, presorting, centrifugation, and aliquoting.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and turnaround standards.
• Adhere to safety and compliance procedures.
• Work effectively in a high-volume laboratory setting.
