The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in a clinical lab, healthcare environment, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Night shift schedule is included as part of a rotating 7-on/7-off pattern.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a lab or specimen processing is preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document problematic specimens.
