Zusammenfassung

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our Sunrise, FL team. The role supports specimen accessioning, sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment, with an evening schedule: Monday–Friday 5pm–1:30am and rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities include preparing specimens for analysis, labeling, packing and shipping to testing facilities, and ensuring production goals are met. A high school diploma and minimal prior lab experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• 1 year or more of medical or production experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
