Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Problem Resolution Specimen Technician in Miramar, FL, with a Monday–Friday 10:00 PM–6:30 AM schedule and rotational weekends. The role involves resolving specimen issues, processing tests, and ensuring timely result reporting.

The position offers a pay range of $18.33+ per hour with shift differentials and a broad benefits package including medical, 401(k), stock purchase, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year in Specimen TechIII/related role for internal candidates.
• Laboratory/production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for resolving common specimen problems with internal departments to avoid delays.
• May call clients to obtain resolution of problems.
• Demonstrates competency in Specimen Processing problem resolution and SOPs.
• Interprets specimen tracking data using logs, LIS, automation, and instruments.
• Supports priority handling of samples with limited stability and issues impacting client/patient care.
• Accurately enter TIQs/TNPs and process/match labels.
• Escalates trends to management as appropriate.
• Proficient with MS Office and ability to run reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
